Our story

Halloween should be fun for the pet too

Pawty Wear started with one badly-fitting bat costume and a very unimpressed beagle.

Most pet costumes are made to look good in a product photo and nowhere else. Stiff fabric, scratchy seams, straps that dig in, sizing based on breed names instead of measurements. Pets freeze, owners feel guilty, and the outfit lives in a drawer until next October.

We built Pawty Wear to fix that. Every piece we list has to pass three checks: it fits to real measurements, it moves with the animal, and it can be put on and taken off in under thirty seconds. If a sample pinches, restricts a leg or covers an airway, we don't stock it.

What we look for

  • Soft, breathable fabric with stretch panels where pets flex
  • Velcro or elastic closures instead of tight over-the-head openings
  • Clear sightlines and free ears — nothing that muffles hearing
  • Nothing small enough to chew off and swallow
  • Sizing charts in inches, published on every product page

How we ship

We work with a small set of vetted partners who hold our stock, which keeps costs down and lets us restock quickly through peak Halloween weeks. Orders leave within 1-2 business days and you get tracking as soon as the label is printed.
